For this first edition, we chose a broad theme to encourage your creativity: ‘Beautiful Cambodia.’ Showcase Cambodia’s stunning natural, cultural, and/or societal richness through your lens. Interpret the theme freely and let your creativity shine!

TIMELINE
- August 1st - October 31st 2024: Photos Submission
- November 1st-30th 2024: Jury evaluation
- December 1st: Announcement of the finalists
- December 18th - January 31st: Exhibition & Public votes
- January 18th: Prize Ceremony at Wild Phnom Penh
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Before submitting your work, please make sure:
- Picture quality is High Definition
- Picture fits the theme ("Beautiful Cambodia")
- 1 photographer may submit 2 photos maximum
- Picture is your work and you have full rights over it
- Prepare a short text for the public to explain your picture
Prizes
- $1000 minimum Prize Money
- 3 best pictures will be featured on Sovrin.com and photographer interviewed
- Finalists’ pictures will be for sale. 60% will benefit the photographer and 40% donated to Wildlife Alliance’s reforestation programs in Cambodia.
- All finalists get gifts from our sponsor

THE CONTEST
Submission Guidelines
We kindly remind all participants that strict adherence to the submission guidelines is crucial. Failure to comply with the following rules will result in the disqualification of the submitted photo:
- Image Quality: High-resolution digital photographs are required.
- Tell us what about your photo: All photos are submitted with a short text explaining the picture, the story behind it, why it’s important to you, anything that could be of interest for the jury.
- Make sure your photography fits the theme : " Beautiful Cambodia", if the link is not obvious, please feel free to give more information in your explanation text
- Originality: All submitted works must be original and the exclusive property of the photographer.
- Every photographer are entitled to submitting up to 2 photographies, but not more!

The final selection (30 pictures) will be based on the scores given by the jury.
Scoring items include, but are not limited to:

Meet our Judges
We are honoured to introduce our judges, all professional in photography and/or fashion and arts. They will be the ones in charge of rating every picture submitted by the contestants. Their ratings will define the final selection of 30 pictures that will be displayed and voted by the public.

Public rating
The final selection (30 pictures) will be displayed in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Kampot and Battambang simultaneously, where the public will vote for their favourite pictures.

Eyes on Cambodia & Wildlife Alliance
Eyes on Cambodia aims to raise funds for Wildlife Alliance’s reforestation programs in the Kingdom.
All 30 pictures selected will be for sale at a fixed price (100$), the photographer will receive 60% of the sales. The 40% will be donated to Wildlife Alliance (after deduction of printing and shipping costs).

Frequently Asked Questions
The contest is open to photographers of all levels, from beginners to professionals. We encourage everyone with a passion for capturing Cambodia's natural beauty to participate.
We are looking for photographs that showcase the wild landscapes and/or vibrant biodiversity of Cambodia. This includes images of the country's majestic temples, wildlife, and serene rural landscapes.
Proceeds from the "Wild Cambodia" photo contest will support Wildlife Alliance's reforestation programs. These initiatives aim to preserve and protect Cambodia's rich biodiversity for future generations.
You can submit your entries through our official contest website. Please ensure your photos are high-quality and adhere to the submission guidelines provided on the website.
A prize money of $1000 will be split between the winners.
The 30 best pictures (based on Jury votes), will be showcased in a public exhibition on 4 different cities simultaneously and gain recognition in the photography community, and voted by the public to designate the winners.
All 30 best pictures will be available for sales, giving an opportunity to the photographers to make additional money.
